I’m sure most of you will have seen this already, it’s been heavily doing the rounds on the ole intertubes but some nut has put together a seven minute mash-up of the oevres of Joel and Ethan Coen and Quentin Tartantino. Enjoy;

Thank to Jacob for giving me a further poke of encouragement to post it up ;-)

Focus Features have stepped up and entered the 21st century with their promotion for the Coen brothers’ forthcoming movie, A Serious Man. Going all Web 2.0 they have the obligatory Twitter page, a Facebook account and a YouTube channel fot you to subscribe to.

Little, old You Know, For Kids! will do its best to keep up.

Hey all, in a bit of downtime I stumbled across this frankly brilliant piece of typography animation…

There are many, many others like this on YouTube but none compare in my opinion.

From that I found this- the infamous “this is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps” terrible TV dub. Hilarious…

And I think I heard “feed a stoner scrambled eggs” in there too. Bizarre!

Rolling Stone magazine is running a “Decade of the Dude” retrospective in this month’s issue. You can also check it out online. It is divided into the following parts…

Here’s a pic of modern day Jeff Bridges recreating the “Hey man, there’s a beverage here” Limo scene. He still looks cool as fuck! Top man!

I’m sure you’ll agree- it is a good article, and thorough.

Thanks to Marc and William for mailing this in.

The brothers Coen and the stars of No Country For Old Men did a press conference during the NY Film Festival recently and you can watch it, in all its crappily filmed glory, on YouTube. Links on right. They’re not particularly revealing but still worth your time.

Thanks to Mark for the link.

God bless YouTube! Remember Paris Je t’aime? The movie made up of 20 or so 5 minute segments directed by different directors? Well the Coen’s segment, Tuileries, starring Steve Buscemi is up on YouTube. Follow the link below.

YouTube, you gotta love it! Most of you will be aware of Joel Coen’s “acting” history, well you can use the link on the right to see him and Sam Raimi “acting” in the 80’s John Landis comedy Spies Like Us. It amounts to about 10 seconds of screen time but is enough for us to appreciate Joel’s move to behind the camera ;-)

Thanks to Stephen Glitheroe for digging it up!

Also here’s another amusing Big Lebowski related Youtube movie…

Another amusing Coen brothers YouTube video- The Big Lebowski, The Fucking Short Version. Two minutes and fourteen seconds of cuss words!
