SlashFilm have posted a very brief update on the Coen brothers’ next movie, Inside Llwyn Davis. It’s basically a couple of soundbites from Oscar Isaac, who you might know as Standard Gabriel from the fantastic Nicolas Winding Fefn movie, Drive. Here are the quotes;
“We did all the music live, no playback; it’s like a concert movie. There’s like six or seven songs in it.”
and;
“I play a guy that’s down on his luck, but it was very hard to feel that way because I was just always had a smile from ear to ear. I’ve been playing [guitar] for 20 years, so it was kind of the perfect storm of things that came together for me to be a part of it.”
There’s not a lot of info coming out on this one at the moment which is why YKFK has been a little quiet. More when I have it.
