Hi all,
Just a quick note to say that, unless there is significant resistance, I will be closing the site’s forum for good. I’m not claiming that YKFK is a very busy site or anything but the forum itself is barely used at all, especially now that commenting is possible on every news piece. I posted this on 17th November and it had a grand total of one response (thanks Navsit!).
If you object to this now would be a good time to say something. What do you think? Does the site even need a forum? If so should it be a better one? Some people objected to having to register, is that why you don’t use it? Is it redundant now that commenting is available?

i check this site daily and havent really gone anywhere except the news site for years.

Thanks guys, it’s nice to hear you drop by every day. Looking at the site’s statistics I pretty much thought that people were now spending most of their time on the site checking out the news page. I think this weekend will mark the forum’s death.

I posted a few things on it, but rarely got a reply, haven’t looked at it in donkeys. Forums needs regular traffic otherwise they whither and die quickly.
