I thought it might be interesting to find out which of the Coen brothers movies were though to be the best. So I have added a wee poll in the sidebar to the right (below the events calendar) or you can vote directly in this post…

Which is your favourite Coen brothers movie?
If you’re anything like me it will change depending on the weather. Sometimes it’s Fargo, sometimes it Lebowski, sometimes it’s Miller’s Crossing but I’m not trying to influence your vote- go with your gut. I’ll run this one for a while to see how it goes but I plan to add a series of them, this questions was just the most obvious way to begin.

On second thought, should have voted for Hudsucker Proxy to give it at least one vote. I still think Hudsucker is funnier than Lebowski in some ways, but of the two it was also the first that I felt that I “got”, which you could argue is because it is the “simpler” of the two.

Well rest easy Max, someone has voted for Hudsucker now. It is difficult to pick a favourite. Interesting that, so far, no one has picked either Intolerable Cruelty or The Ladykillers…

67 votes in and Miller’s Crossing and Lebowski are tied! Miller’s Crossing has rocketed up overnight!
How long do you guys think I should let this one run? On Friday it will have been a week.

Lebowski now ONE vote ahead of Miller’s. I thought it would be a battle between Lebowski and Fargo!
